Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant is responsible for implementing medically prescribed physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. This role involves traveling to patients' residences to deliver care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver physical therapy interventions based on a care plan established by a physical therapist.
  • Utilize appropriate techniques and skills tailored to the patient population.
  • Document all treatment interventions performed.
  • Coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support staff as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and alert working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Experience: No prior experience required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Constant standing and frequent lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent communication and auditory skills for sharing information and recognizing sounds.
  • Frequent visual acuity for both near and far distances.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of patients and objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
