Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician/Shop Foreman to lead our team at Dutton Motor Company in Riverside, California. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of mechanics and technicians in the shop
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
  • Diagnose and address any technical issues that arise during the repair process
  • Collaborate with the Service Advisor to schedule repairs and prioritize workflow
  • Train and mentor junior mechanics to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
  • Certification in automotive mechanics or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Shop Foreman or similar role
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair and diagnostic procedures
  • Familiarity with General Motors makes and models
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively
