Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care, including wound care management and prevention.
  • Provide direct patient care and collaborate with staff nurses to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Act as a consultative resource for clinical staff on wound care best practices and protocols.
  • Perform wound care functions under the supervision of a Wound Care Coordinator.
  • Requirements:
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Current state Licensed Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • BCLS certification.
    • Three (3) years of nursing experience, with a focus on acute care nursing.
