We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Mercy Hospital St Louis. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and maintaining patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures on patients in the Emergency Department setting, trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion
- Manipulate patient and transfer equipment, and maintain a fast-paced workload
- Recognize emergency situations and communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience working in an ED setting, trauma, stroke, CTAs, and perfusion
- Skills and experience in manipulating patient and transfer equipment, continual standing/walking, recognizing emergency situations, and effective communication
- Preferred skillset/experience includes CTA and Perfusion knowledge
Our team works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, including GE Revolution (256 slices) and Siemens CT scanners. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and strive to maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
What We Offer- Midnight shift, 4 x 10 (8:30p – 7a) schedule
- 36 hours per week, with weekend hours as needed
