Responsibilities

The Housekeeping department plays a vital role in upholding the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hotel. A successful Housekeeper should demonstrate proficiency in cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and common areas to meet and exceed expectations. The primary objective of the Housekeeping team is to ensure a pristine and comfortable environment throughout our facilities, both public and private. This department strives to create an atmosphere of luxury that encourages our guests to relax and extend their stay, allowing our team to provide outstanding service. This position requires both teamwork and individual initiative. The responsibilities of a Housekeeper include, but are not limited to:
  • Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
  • Sanitizing and cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, showers, countertops, and sinks
  • Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Washing windows
  • Vacuuming and organizing carpets and rugs
  • Sweeping, mopping, and buffing hard floor surfaces
  • Utilizing various cleaning equipment such as vacuums and mops
  • Ensuring bathrooms are stocked with fresh linens and toiletries
  • Reporting maintenance issues that require attention

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and supplies
  • Consistently maintaining cleanliness and order within the department
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work independently
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
  • Exhibiting a cooperative and positive attitude
  • Efficiently completing tasks with a focus on quality and timeliness
  • Adhering to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Demonstrating regular and punctual attendance
