Job Summary

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to support our healthcare clients nationwide. As an EP Tech, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic electrophysiology procedures and interventions, working closely with cardiologists to ensure patient safety and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies, ensuring sterility and functionality.
  • Record patient information, including medical history, vitals, and height/weight.
  • Prepare patients for electrocardiogram testing and monitor EKG readings, reporting any rhythm disturbances to the physician.
  • Place EP catheters, read electrocardiograms, and interpret recordings.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
  • Adhere to Amergis and worksite rules, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of experience in EP/Cath Lab, with certification or applicable certification required by state or contractor client requirements.
  • Current physical exam, TB test, and BLS card per state requirement or contract requirement.
  • Attention to detail and strong verbal communication skills.
