We are seeking a skilled Sandblaster to join our team at BlueWave Solutions in Vienna. As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for surface treatment and preparation of work, performing blasting work on assemblies in a blasting system with full protective gear and external ventilation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Surface Treatment: Prepare surfaces for coating or other treatments by sandblasting or other methods.
  • Assembly Blasting: Perform blasting work on assemblies in a blasting system, ensuring full protective gear and external ventilation are used.
  • Corrosion Protection: Apply corrosion protection to heavy steel assemblies.
  • Component Preparation: Prepare and post-process components for coating or other treatments.
  • Material Disposal: Dispose of blasting materials in accordance with company procedures.
  • Technical Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical specifications.

Your Profile:

  • Qualifications: Completed training as a process mechanic in coating technology or a comparable qualification is desirable.
  • Experience: Experience as a sandblaster or knowledge of sandblasting in the metal industry is an advantage.
  • Shift Work: Willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
  • Physical Resilience: Physical resilience is required for this role.
  • Licenses: Crane license or forklift license is desirable.
