Responsibilities:
  • Operate blow-mold machines, grinders, and conveyor systems to produce high-quality bottles.
  • Troubleshoot process problems and perform minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line.
  • Follow our company's Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
  • Perform audits, weights, and quality checks to ensure product quality.
  • Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
  • Introduction to preventive maintenance, mold, neck, and blow pin changes.
  • Grind excess bottle and material.
  • Introduction to troubleshooting and resolving process problems.
  • Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.
  • Prepare and document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies, and other.
Requirements:
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Basic computer experience.
  • Prefer High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Completion of Altium Machine Operator I training within 90 days of hire date.
Work Environment:
The Machine Operator will work in a production environment with moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually loud, and temperatures can fluctuate between hot and cold. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
