Job SummaryThe Mental Health Professional will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive and collaborative care to patients with a wide range of clinical presentations and acuity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and on-going evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
- Deliver individual and group treatment utilizing evidence-based modalities to patients with varying clinical needs.
- Participate in monthly behavioral health calls and collaborate with the medical team to determine overall treatment plans.
- Perform risk assessments, coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, and develop discharge plans.
- Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
- Prepare necessary documentation, records, and reports.
- Masters degree from an accredited program in social work, counseling, psychology, or a comparable field.
- Minimum of one year internship/employment in a behavioral health capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
- Satisfactory background investigation report.
