Job Summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in Spring, TX. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established treatment plans, utilizing your knowledge of nursing processes and health care systems.
  • Perform general nursing care to patients, following established standards and procedures, and ensuring patient confidentiality.
  • Obtain and document patient health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors, and assess disease condition.
  • Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations, and execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions.
  • Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
  • Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices.
  • Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Practical/Vocational Nurse program required.
  • Current/valid LVN license from the state licensing board or valid Compact LVN license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required.
  • 0 – 1 year clinic experience preferred.
