Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Position

We're seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals at Travel Nurse Across America. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience and a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, urgent, and critical care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide critical care to patients with potentially life-threatening heart conditions.
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
- Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy, and IV protocols.
- Be called in for emergencies to provide CPR and operate defibrillators hospital-wide.
- Educate patients and family members on how to manage recovery at home.
Requirements:
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- 2 years of experience in acute care
