Your Responsibilities:
As a Cemetery Maintenance Specialist at Everstory, you will be instrumental in upholding the grounds, ensuring the safety of visitors, and providing exceptional service. Your duties will encompass:
- Conducting various landscaping tasks, including lawn mowing and weed control.
- Maintaining equipment in peak condition.
- Supporting funeral services as needed.
- Safely and efficiently operating machinery.
- Installing burial vaults and memorial markers.
- Performing general upkeep tasks.
- Managing snow removal when required.
- Completing additional assignments as directed by the Grounds Superintendent.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance or a similar field.
- Skilled in operating maintenance machinery.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift up to 80lbs.
- A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle may be necessary.
