About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Imagery Analyst to join our team at Jacobs. As an Imagery Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the nation's security and intelligence mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on full motion imagery analysis, producing intelligence products derived from airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance platforms.
  • Conduct real-time 24/7 full motion video exploitation in a shift work environment, maintaining Situational Awareness and understanding of the mission and intelligence requirements.
  • Research and analyze imagery to meet current USMC requirements, including NRO Overhead Systems, aircraft, FMV, and civil/commercial sensors.
  • Produce standard and non-standard FMV imagery analysis products, such as motion imagery summary reports and tailored mission-specific products.
  • Identify targets and target-related activities by understanding Order of Battle for mission-related geolocations.
  • Conduct target research in support of exploitation activities to provide amplifying information and context to information requirements.
  • Analyze existing information and intelligence to identify gaps in coverage/knowledge and investigate all sources of intelligence to fill those gaps.
  • Conduct data mining using various databases, open-source reporting, digital video archives, and other intelligence sources.
  • Provide multimedia production in support of exploitation activities.
  • Provide peer-to-peer assessments when analysts require evaluations and when analysts need to be tested on their position.
  • Conduct multi-INT research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, processing, analysis, production, and dissemination of intelligence information in accordance with Government priorities, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the concepts involved in the specific functions outlined in the specified labor category description.
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrates ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Demonstrates ability to work semi-independently with oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to use logic when evaluating and synthesizing multiple sources of information.
  • Demonstrates understanding of interpreting analysis to include its meaning, importance, and implications.
  • Demonstrates ability to defend analytic judgments with sound, logical conclusions and adapt analytic judgments when presented with new information, evolving conditions, or unexpected developments.
  • Demonstrates ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports, documents, assessments, studies, and briefing materials in formats including Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally, with strong grammar skills.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop structured research including obtaining, evaluating, organizing, and maintaining information within security and data protocols.
  • Demonstrates ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge using complex analytic methodologies, such as structured analytic techniques or alternative approaches, to examine biases, assumptions, and theories to eliminate uncertainty, strengthen analytic arguments, and mitigate surprise.
  • Demonstrates understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations, to include technical sensors / platforms and human intelligence sources related to the labor category.
  • Demonstrates understanding of evaluating collected intelligence reporting, engaging with collection managers, and developing collection requirements.
Clearance Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience conducting analysis relevant to the specific labor category, with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. An additional 4 years of experience in the specific labor category, for a total of 7 years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
