Transportation Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team at Performance Foodservice. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic food distribution company that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Excellence: Safely drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring timely delivery of food and related products to customers in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Build Relationships: Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally, providing accurate and timely information to meet their needs.
- Perform Safety Checks: Conduct regular safety inspections of tractor/truck and trailer to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Process Deliveries: Perform count checks of items, verify customer invoices, and complete required paperwork associated with freight.
Requirements:
- Certifications: Valid CDL B, DOT Health Card, and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
- Experience: 12 months commercial driving experience.
- Education: High school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent.
