Project Architect Opportunity at MSA Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to join our team at MSA Design, an award-winning Architecture + Interior Design + Graphics firm with offices in Cincinnati and Columbus.

As a Project Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our communities by designing exceptional experiences and spaces that have an enduring impact.

This is a fully in-person position based in our downtown Cincinnati headquarters, located in the West Fourth Street District, just blocks away from Fountain Square and the Banks Riverfront District.

About the Role:

  • A minimum of 3-7 years of post-graduation experience and possession of a professional license to practice Architecture or be in the process of taking their Architecture Registration Exams.
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Experience or interest in working on legacy projects that have an enduring impact on their communities, regardless of project type or size.
  • An individual with high integrity who follows through on commitments, honors their word, and embodies the character exemplified by MSA leadership and team members.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to foster long-term client relationships to develop ongoing work opportunities.
  • A self-starting, positive, dynamic, active, outgoing personality with a flexible and easy-going attitude.
  • Possession of REVIT/BIM fluency and ability to adapt to the latest software tools and resources required to practice Architecture and Design in the 21st century.
  • Experience in using presentation software (Adobe, Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.) for site/master planning, visioning, design packages, and project design & production teams.
  • An understanding of Sustainability and possession of necessary certifications (LEED AP, BD+C, WELL, etc.).

  • U.S. Citizenship or proper authorization for full-time permanent employment in the United States.

  • A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
