We are seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As a Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing medical nutrition therapy services to our patients and residents. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care and improve the health outcomes of our clients.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans for patients and residents
- Provide medical nutrition therapy services, including verbal orders, diet modification, and nutrition support
- Conduct nutritional assessments and evaluations to determine nutritional status
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize self-management education and skills in the care of clients with chronic conditions
- Stay up-to-date with new trends and techniques in nutrition care and implement them in our facility
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in dietetics or food and nutrition through an ACEND-accredited program
- Clinical nutrition experience through an approved coordinated undergraduate program or successful completion of a postgraduate internship
- Currently holds a Registered Dietitian (RD) license within the applicable state(s)
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required
