Instructor of Pathophysiology

Job Summary
Higheredmilitary is seeking an experienced Adjunct Professor of Pathophysiology to teach a foundational course in Pathophysiology (BI 212) for second-year students with majors in nursing and nuclear medicine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biology and teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach BI 212 and engage with all responsibilities associated with teaching the section, including grading, office hours, student engagement, and academic assessment.
- Develop and implement effective teaching methods to ensure student understanding and success.
- Collaborate with other STEM faculty to ensure consistency across class sections as needed.
- Participate in academic assessment and evaluation of student performance.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Biology or a related field.
- At least three years of prior classroom teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom learning environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other faculty members.
- Familiarity with academic assessment and evaluation.
Working Conditions
The Adjunct Professor of Pathophysiology will work in a normal office environment with minimal physical demands.
