About the Role

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Senior Learning Designer to join our team in Topeka, Kansas. As a Senior Learning Designer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining computer-based and instructor-led training content for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and write objectives.
  • Analyze course materials across training programs to ensure learning levels cascade appropriately.
  • Design and develop instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, and multimedia content.
  • Create engaging eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and other educational tools.
  • Apply instructional design models (ADDIE) to create effective learning experiences.
  • Design assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes.
  • Ensure content is accessible, learning-centered, and aligned with learning objectives.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience relevant to this position.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to make independent judgments as the job duties are varied and complex.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Oracle Health Millennium Platform, formerly known as Cerner Millennium solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
  • Experience creating computer-based training content using Adobe Captivate.
  • Experience with accessibility standards and guidelines, including Section 508 and WCAG 2.0.
