Position Overview

The role of a Travel Nurse RN is essential in providing high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This position requires adaptability and a commitment to excellence in nursing practice.

Certification Requirements
  • Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Job Specifications
  • Specialty: Registered Nurse
  • Facility Capacity: 4 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms
  • Staffing Levels: Approximately 25 personnel
  • Staffing Structure: Day Shift – Primarily RNs, with scrub techs and scope room techs; Night Shift – on-call only
  • Patient Ratios: Approximately 20-30 patients managed each weekday
  • Equipment Utilized: Olympus scopes, Provation procedural documentation
  • Electronic Medical Records: Meditech
  • Role Responsibilities: All RNs are trained to admit, circulate, scrub in procedural cases, recover, and discharge patients.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
  • PACU or ICU experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP procedures is advantageous
  • Familiarity with bronchoscopy procedures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Quick adaptability to new situations
  • Strong team collaboration skills
Schedule Requirements

All staff, including PRN, are required to be available for weekday and weekend on-call duties.

  • Uniform Policy: Hospital-issued scrubs, adhering to surgical attire guidelines
  • Appearance Standards: No visible piercings permitted
