Nurse Practitioner-Therapeutic Infusion Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Therapeutic Infusion team at Mount Sinai Health System. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to the development of our infusion services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring therapeutic infusions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in therapeutic infusion, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with a focus on infusion therapy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
