Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physician-prescribed physical therapy to improve or minimize patients' residual physical disabilities.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Physicians, healthcare teams, and other individuals as needed regarding aspects of care and patients' status.
  • Help develop and revise plans of care as necessary.
  • Communicate with Americare Therapy Services regarding issues related to Rehab services and indicated patient care.

Requirements
  • Two (2) years of experience preferred.
  • Licensed by The State of New York as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduate from a physical therapist curriculum approved by one of the following: The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) or successor organizations of CAPTE.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
