We are seeking a motivated and dedicated nursing student to join our team as an RN Extern. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while completing your nursing education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse and in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Assist with patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Current State of Michigan Practical Nurse Licensure (LPN) required.
- In and/or starting the last year of an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN) and remains in good standing.
- Completes required elements to maintain Michigan Practical Nurse licensure.
- Must maintain current BLS certification.
