About the Job

As an Arboriculture Professional at Big Woody's Tree Service, LLC, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and integrity of our clients' trees. This includes climbing trees, trimming branches, and removing dead or damaged wood.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who can work effectively as part of a team and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Climbing trees using approved climbing equipment according to industry standards.
  • Trimming, pruning, and shaping trees and shrubs according to industry standards.
  • Static and dynamic cabling, bracing, bolting, and guying of trees and branches.
  • Assessing climb and tree risk by understanding tree growth dynamics and the dangers associated with electrical hazards.
Requirements
  • A valid driver's license and available transportation, with the ability to obtain a CDL.
  • 2+ years of climbing experience.
  • Ability to tie tree industry knots.
