This position is pivotal in shaping the cloud infrastructure to guarantee optimal reliability and resilience. The successful candidate will:
- Design and Optimize: Create and enhance cloud infrastructure to achieve the highest standards of reliability.

Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 7 years with an Advanced Degree, or 4 years with a PhD, or 13+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
12+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8-10 years with an Advanced Degree, or 6+ years with a PhD. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is essential.
Minimum of 5 years in a Cloud Architect role or similar in public cloud environments.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly regarded.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of cloud services and infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Experience in designing resilient cloud solutions and public/hybrid network architectures is crucial. Familiarity with DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is expected. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills are essential for conveying complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Work Hours: Varies based on departmental needs.
Travel Requirements: This role may require travel up to 10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: The position is office-based, requiring the ability to sit and stand at a desk, communicate effectively, and operate standard office equipment.
