Aerial Medical Transport Pilot

Position Overview:

Are you passionate about aviation and dedicated to providing critical medical transport services? We are seeking a skilled Helicopter Pilot to join our team at Med-Trans Corporation, where safety is our utmost priority.

Compensation:
Salary Range: $103,227 - $113,551, which includes a 21% Geo Modifier.
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Retention Bonus: $40,000 after three years of service.
On-Duty Housing: Provided
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to ensure safe transportation of patients to and from medical facilities.
  • Prepare aircraft for flight operations in accordance with all regulatory and company standards, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
  • Maintain precise documentation and records in compliance with MTC and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and medical teams to coordinate flight operations.
  • Provide detailed shift change information to the incoming pilot and team, adhering to established protocols.
  • Stay current with required certifications and participate in ongoing training programs.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
  • Helicopter Instrument Rating.
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2,000 total flight hours.
  • At least 1,500 hours in helicopters.
  • 1,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in helicopters.
  • 1,000 hours in turbine helicopters.
  • 200 hours of night flight experience in helicopters (aided or unaided).
Preferred Experience:
B407 experience is highly desirable.
