About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our ready mix division, you'll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality ready mix concrete to customers across the region.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive a multi-axle ready mix truck from the plant to job sites while maintaining the integrity of the concrete product.
  • Maintain equipment, perform daily pre-and-post inspections, and document results as per company policies.
  • Follow directions from Forepersons regarding daily tasks and expectations for each project or jobsite.
  • Display professionalism and courtesy towards customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A valid CDL B heavy straight with necessary endorsements.
  • Air brake skills test certification.
  • Previous experience in construction, preferably in ready mix delivery.
  • Ability to work safely, follow OSHA/MSHA regulations, and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Working Conditions

As a Concrete Mixer Truck Driver, you'll be working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various elements, including:

  • Noise: sufficient noise levels to cause distraction or potential hearing damage.
  • Fumes: vaporous emissions from combustion or chemical reactions.
  • Gases: carbon monoxide and ozone.
  • Dust: airborne particles.
  • Hazards: proximity to moving mechanical parts, ladder safety, temperature extremes.
