Manufacturing Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Stealth Recruiting Services. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing unit, including employee safety, staff management, and training.
Key Responsibilities- Production Oversight: Supervise and coordinate all production activities to ensure efficient and safe operation of the manufacturing unit.
- Employee Management: Manage and train production staff, including interviewing, planning, assigning, and directing work, rewarding, and disciplining employees.
- Safety and Quality: Develop and implement safety training programs and ensure a strong shop floor safety culture and environment. Maintain high-quality standards and ensure all goods produced meet our manufacturing standards and listing agency requirements.
- Operations Management: Coordinate machine maintenance with maintenance staff to minimize production downtime and increase production efficiency. Work with production planners to ensure changeover sequencing minimizes labor and material costs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide daily production updates and document all changes in set-ups, tooling kits, data plotting worksheets, and control plans. Manage and report all worked hours for production staff and advise on supply levels and shortages.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years production supervisory experience
- Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt, or Yellow Belt Certification a plus
- Skills: Strong management and leadership skills, ability to read and analyze shop drawings, technical publications, and listing agreements. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
