">This respiratory care specialist will provide comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and administer respiratory therapy treatments for patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
">Duties and Responsibilities:
">• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
• Analyze test results, such as pulmonary function tests (PFTs), arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis, chest X-rays, and sleep studies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues, collaborating with physicians as needed.
• Administer oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and airway clearance techniques.
• Provide emergency respiratory care, including CPR, defibrillation, and advanced airway management, when necessary.
• Educate patients and families on proper use of respiratory equipment, medications, and techniques for managing respiratory conditions at home.
