We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars, LLP. As a key member of our tax practice, you will play a critical role in providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tax Compliance Services: Assist clients with tax compliance, including preparation of tax returns, financial statements, and other tax-related documents.
  • Offer Tax Advisory Services: Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, including analysis of tax implications of business decisions and development of tax strategies.
  • Supervise and Develop Tax Staff: Supervise and develop the skills of junior tax staff, including training and mentoring.
  • Build Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including regular communication and timely delivery of services.
  • Represent Forvis Mazars: Represent the firm in the marketplace, including participation in networking events and proposal development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
  • CPA License: CPA license or have secured the educational requirements to satisfy the 150-credit hour requirement necessary to obtain a CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree, or a related field.
