Key Responsibilities:

Charge Master Management:

  • Responsible for:
    • Maintaining and updating the hospital's charge master
    • Reviewing and analyzing necessary CPT updates in line with regulations
    • Ensuring compliance with revenue codes and rate centers
    • Assisting with pricing adjustments as required
    • Handling ad hoc requests as needed

Revenue Integrity Oversight:

  • Monitor and assist in reviewing revenue cycle work queues within the EPIC system.
  • Analyze billing discrepancies and denial trends to identify root causes.
  • Collaborate with the Revenue Integrity Team and other departments to implement corrective measures.
  • Address ad hoc requests as necessary.

Abstract Submission Support:

  • Assist in the submission of state-mandated abstract reports.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure data integrity.
  • Conduct abstract reconciliations and modifications as required, including:
    • Collaborating with IT for necessary data adjustments.
    • Participating in HSCRC meetings for data review.
    • Maintaining accurate reconciliation of abstract data.
    • Ensuring timely and accurate submissions on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and a strong desire to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EPIC systems is advantageous.
