Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A Regional to join our team at Ryder in Houston, TX. As a Regional Class A Hazmat Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
