Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $36,000 per year, with opportunities for additional income through sales incentives. As a Financial Representative Trainee, you will also receive benefits such as a 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match, 15 days of vacation per year, and 11 paid holidays in 2024.
Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Financial Representative Trainee. You will participate in a comprehensive training program that includes self-study, hands-on-experience projects, and structured curriculum. Your primary responsibility will be to develop the skills required to provide holistic financial advice to clients, including marketing Individual Insurance products and cultivating strong relationships with internal business partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass and apply for appropriate insurance licenses within 14 days of entry into the job, and meet the requirements of the CRD/FINRA background check. Additionally, you should be highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Location and Travel Requirements
This position is based in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, and may require up to 50% travel to attend appointments and meetings. A valid driver's license is required to maintain a professional presence on the road.
