Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a single project, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily jobsite activities, including scheduling, coordination, and communication with trade partners and site project teams.
  • Implement and maintain jobsite safety programs, reporting, and accident prevention measures.
  • Ensure employee safety, housekeeping, and accurate cost center management.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, field dimensions, and contract conformance.
  • Maintain jobsite records, progress photographs, and city inspections.
  • Coordinate temporary utilities requests and terminate them as needed.
  • Attend jobsite meetings, complete punch list items, and turn over keys to the owner.
  • Perform weekly reviews of job costs and maintain quality control.
  • Mentor and train Assistant Superintendents and Assistant Project Managers.
Requirements:
  • 8-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in Ground-Up Mixed Commercial construction, specializing in Higher Education and Healthcare projects.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, ability to manage a single project, and offer guidance to team members.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, experience supervising commercial projects, and some experience with drafting, surveying, or CAD preferred.

  • Competitive salary, typically between $115,000 to $135,000.
