Dietary Assistant

Peabody Management Systems Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our food service staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional dining experiences.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality food service. The successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $35,000 per year, based on industry standards and local market conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the facility's dietitian in implementing recommended changes to menus and meal plans
• Serving meals in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Cleaning work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, and other kitchen areas
• Sweeping and mopping floors as directed
• Carrying soiled utensils and equipment to the wash area
• Returns clean utensils to their proper storage areas
• Washing and cleaning utensils as directed
• Carrying out garbage and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Setting up meal trays, food carts, and dining rooms as instructed
• Preparing and serving meals under the direction of the cook
• Distributing and collecting menus as necessary
• Obtaining food supplies for the next meal
• Assisting in checking diet trays after distribution
• Delivering food carts, trays, and other items to designated areas
• Performing dishwashing and cleaning procedures
