Job Title: Senior Indirect Tax Accountant

Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Senior Indirect Tax Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing tax issues and implications for both the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Indirect Tax Manager in performing research on tax questions and issues.
  • Aid in compliance and reporting obligations for indirect tax types.
  • Analyze and reconcile tax accrual accounts.
  • Communicate with departments to obtain necessary documentation for tax purposes.
  • Respond to communication from regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a Finance/Business related degree.
  • 5 years of relevant indirect tax experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in industry accounting or corporate tax role.
  • Experience with tax research tools preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
