Position Overview:
Compensation: $17.92 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Uniforms and safety footwear are provided at no cost. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a SECOND SHIFT from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Overtime is available based on operational requirements and compensated at time-and-a-half.The Plant Associate is responsible for unloading waste from vehicles, ensuring proper decontamination, and staging waste for scanning and processing in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
• Unload waste from incoming vehicles and segregate non-autoclavable materials for incineration.
• Stage waste on the conveyor system or stack it appropriately for scanning in the Biotrack system.
• Scan waste into the Biotrack system to maintain accurate records.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hoppers with waste for processing.
• Place reusable containers on the tub wash line for decontamination.
• Operate the tub wash unit, ensuring it functions correctly, and inspect clean tubs for reuse.
• Decontaminate the cargo area of vehicles, ensuring no free liquids are present, and notify the plant supervisor when the vehicle is ready for movement.
• Address housekeeping issues promptly, including spills and debris on the floor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education Requirements:
Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Requirements:
• Effective communication skills and the ability to follow health and safety guidelines and company policies.
• 0-1 years of experience, preferably in a plant environment.
• A valid Driver's License is preferred.
Certifications:
Forklift Certification
