Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Strive for zero accidents by adhering to safety protocols and utilizing all assigned protective equipment. Proactively suggest safety improvements and report any incidents immediately.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure fabricated components meet customer specifications and adhere to detailed drawings. Conduct thorough testing and quality control checks prior to the progression of parts to subsequent operations.
  • Timely Delivery: Meet customer delivery expectations by executing tasks efficiently and on schedule.
  • Cost Efficiency: Optimize manufacturing processes to minimize costs while maximizing productivity. Provide recommendations for cost reduction and enhanced operational efficiency.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain tools and machinery in safe working condition, promptly reporting any discrepancies.

Essential Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in layout and welding.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting structural fabrication drawings.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to make informed decisions regarding the sequence of operations within established methods.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques to reduce distortion and enhance efficiency.
  • Understanding of seismic weld application requirements.
  • Alignment with company values and a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Effective organizational skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Competence in interpreting data to draw conclusions in ambiguous situations.

Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
