Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Health and Safety Programs: Create and implement effective health and safety programs to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify and assess potential hazards in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Lead Accident Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into workplace accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our organization is in compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field such as occupational health and safety, environmental health and safety, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in a health and safety role, with at least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Certifications: Possession of certifications such as CSP or CIH is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
