Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced travel nurse to fill a 13-week position in our telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing, with experience in managing complex patient cases and working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients in the telemetry unit
  • Manage complex patient cases, including those with cardiac and neurological conditions
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify potential health risks and develop strategies for prevention and intervention
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in New Jersey
  • 2 years of experience in telemetry nursing
  • Experience with specific equipment, including peritoneal dialysis, patient lift devices, and wound vacs
  • Ability to start IVs, access ports, and manage dysrhythmias
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Cerner experience preferred
