Alpha Global Search LLC is looking for a dedicated Treasury Officer to support the Treasury Manager in executing financial transactions and managing investment portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in overseeing the Treasury department's operations.
2. Execute transactions in the money market for cash from custodial clients.
3. Manage processes related to cash forecasting.
4. Conduct foreign exchange transactions on behalf of custodial clients.
5. Lead initiatives for enhancing foreign exchange systems, including the development and assessment of user acceptance testing.
6. Analyze monthly Treasury operations, performance metrics, and propose future strategies for cash management, foreign exchange, and securities investments.
7. Facilitate monthly Treasury meetings and quarterly sessions of the Treasury Committee.
8. Keep relevant departments and senior management informed about developments in the Treasury sector.
9. Assist in evaluating compliance, regulatory, and risk management matters related to Treasury operations.
10. Manage communication with clients and counterparties.
11. Update and maintain various policies, procedures, and manuals.
12. Maintain and refresh the account profiles of securities lending clients.
13. Oversee periodic reporting and daily correspondence with counterparties.
14. Enhance employee understanding of job responsibilities through ongoing communication and training, focusing on achieving high-quality and accurate work.
15. Perform additional functions as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or business.
2. 5+ years of experience in the financial services sector.
3. Strong communication skills; proficiency in Japanese is advantageous.
4. Solid understanding of legal, tax, and accounting principles.
5. Proficient in spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
6. Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
7. Strong writing capabilities.
8. Preferred experience with money market instruments and foreign exchange transactions in a banking context.
