Position Summary

This pivotal role is essential for the growth of our 503A compounding pharmacy network. You will also focus on establishing influential relationships and nurturing mutually beneficial collaborations with new healthcare providers, emphasizing organic business development. Key Responsibilities: The following duties are subject to change.

Network Development and Growth:

  • Identify and approach potential prescribers, including veterinarians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities, to enhance our 503A compounding pharmacy network.
  • Proactively pursue new business opportunities and partnership prospects within the healthcare sector, utilizing existing networks and conducting thorough market analysis.
  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives to organically expand and diversify the network, aligning with organizational forecasts and market dynamics.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with current network providers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention levels.

Field Marketing Initiatives:

  • Design and implement field marketing campaigns aimed at engaging prescribers, incorporating in-person visits, meetings, and presentations for maximum effectiveness.
  • Clearly communicate the value propositions of our 503A compounding pharmacies and their services, ensuring alignment with provider needs and addressing any concerns.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and strengthen provider relationships.
  • Focus on identifying and pursuing organic growth opportunities, integrating these into campaign planning and execution.
  • Actively solicit feedback from providers to identify areas for improvement and refine future strategies accordingly.

Conference Engagement:

  • Represent the organization at prescriber-focused conferences, trade shows, and networking events relevant to compounding pharmacy and targeted therapeutic areas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to prepare tailored materials, presentations, and demonstrations for each conference's specific audience and objectives.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, thought leaders, and decision-makers during conferences, leveraging networking opportunities to enhance the organization's visibility and reputation.
  • Implement a thorough post-conference follow-up strategy, including personalized thank-you notes, email outreach, and scheduled follow-up communications with promising leads.
  • Utilize insights gained from post-conference feedback to refine future participation strategies and optimize outcomes.

Provider Education and Support:

  • Compile and distribute educational resources to assist prescribers in understanding the benefits and best practices of our pharmacies and therapeutic offerings.
  • Coordinate training sessions with Clinical Liaisons or ConsultRx for prescribers to boost awareness and utilization of our services.
  • Act as a resource for providers, offering guidance on compounding pharmacy regulations, compliance, and quality standards.

Financial Target Achievement:

  • Understand and strategize to meet aggressive financial objectives (Minimum 12% growth) for network expansion and revenue generation.
  • Implement strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and achieve financial targets.
  • Monitor performance metrics and financial indicators, adjusting tactics as necessary to optimize results and maximize profitability.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Utilize data analytics tools to track and analyze provider performance metrics, network growth, and market trends.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats to the network.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Pharm.D. or an advanced degree is preferred. In some cases, relevant experience in compounding sales may be considered in lieu of a Pharm.D.
  • Demonstrated experience in provider relations, business development, or sales is required. Experience in compounding pharmacy sales is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to organize and execute field marketing campaigns, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Knowledge of compounding pharmacy regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards is advantageous.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time) for field marketing and conference participation.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, goal achievement, and identifying new opportunities.
