Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team at SEPTA. As a key member of our Power Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of our substation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical design plans and specifications for substation projects.
  • Oversee the construction and maintenance of substation infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project managers.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in substation design and construction, with a focus on electrical engineering.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license.
