Exercise Physiologist

ARC Health & Wellness is seeking a highly skilled Exercise Physiologist to join our team. As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, developing exercise programs, and providing health coaching to motivate and support patients in making positive lifestyle changes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments to determine their exercise needs and goals.
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and proper form.
• Use medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patients' health status.
• Monitor vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation, during exercise sessions.
• Provide health coaching to motivate and support patients in making positive lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
• Certification as an Exercise Physiologist or eligibility for certification.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Experience conducting patient assessments and developing exercise programs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate and motivate patients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
