Transplant Intensive Care Unit Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Transplant Intensive Care Unit team at Jewish Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals undergoing solid organ transplants.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients pre and post-transplant
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient symptoms, medications, and treatments
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements:

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Kentucky
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for some units
  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university
