We are seeking a compassionate and experienced LVN Charge Nurse to join our team at Azalea Heights in Tyler, TX.

Job Summary

The LVN Charge Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nurses, and ensuring the smooth operation of the nursing department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting patient information.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as therapy and activities, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current and valid Texas LVN/RN nursing license or a current and valid LVN/LPN/RN license from a Compact Party State.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an LVN Charge Nurse or in a similar leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
