Position Overview - Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine

About the Role:
As a Radiology Specialist in Nuclear Medicine at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you play a pivotal role in our healthcare team. Your expertise in Nuclear Medicine is invaluable, and your ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor enhances the experience for patients, families, and colleagues alike. You are dedicated to providing exceptional care and ensuring the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures and engage in research activities related to radiopharmacy and imaging protocols.
- Execute a variety of clinical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
- Actively participate in all technical operations while adhering to the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles regarding radiation safety.
- Identify emergency situations, initiate appropriate code procedures, and provide first aid/CPR as necessary.
- Be part of the on-call rotation to ensure continuous patient care.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Nuclear Medicine is highly desirable.
- Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
- Current registration with the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging.
- IV Certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
