Job Summary

The Specialty Folder Gluer Operator is a critical role within our production team, responsible for operating and maintaining the specialty folder gluer machine. This position requires a strong understanding of equipment function and capabilities, as well as the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate the specialty folder gluer machine to produce high-quality products.
  • Monitor and maintain the machine's performance, identifying and reporting any issues or defects.
  • Assist in training other machine operators and provide guidance on proper setup and operation techniques.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize production schedules and meet cost, quality, and service goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the machine is running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in machine operation, preferably with specialty folder gluers.
  • Strong understanding of equipment function and capabilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
