Geomatics Supervisor

NV5 is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief to join our team in Alpharetta, GA.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, with a minimum of 5 years of experience and 2 years as a party chief. They will be responsible for leading and supervising a survey team, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection, and maintaining high-quality survey equipment.

The estimated salary for this position is $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

• Supervise a survey team in the field, ensuring accurate and efficient data collection.
• Develop and implement plans for data acquisition, including topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and construction layout.
• Maintain detailed records of survey activities, measurements, and data.

• High School Diploma or GED
• An associates degree or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is a plus, or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of land surveying experience
• Minimum of 2 years party chief experience
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining surveying equipment and software
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, including boundary determination and topographic mapping
