Job Description:

Teaching Opportunities in Journalism

We are seeking qualified instructors to join our Department of Communication and teach undergraduate courses in journalism. The successful candidate will have professional experience in journalism, with a passion for sharing their expertise with students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lectures and coursework in journalism-related subjects
  • Design and implement assessments that evaluate student learning outcomes
  • Mentor and advise students on their academic and professional paths

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Requirements
  • Master's degree (M.A., M.F.A. or M.B.A.) or commensurate professional experience in journalism
  • Professional experience in news reporting, news writing, feature writing, social/digital media management, and audio and television production
  • Prior teaching experience is a plus
