Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular assessments to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Indiana.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
  • Manual Therapy and Lymphedema certifications/licenses preferred.
  • Cerner experience preferred.
Work Environment

This is a travel assignment in an acute care setting, working with a team of 19 professionals. You will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans for patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac procedures, stroke, TBI, joint replacement, fracture repairs, respiratory illnesses, dementia, MS, Parkinson, and more.
